...

My cube. :)

ClearBridge

I love working for this company! I look up to all of the research analysts and PMs! I hope I can one day be good enough to work here and be like them.

Thoughts...

There is one place I've fantasized about coming since I was in middle school... the place where the people who move the world walk the streets... the place where the best and the brightest go to fight for their place at the top... and the place where millions of people from across the globe go in search of the 'American Dream'. Here, your full effort counts.

New York City

I'm here. Finally.

In order to rise to the top, I'm no longer competing with the people of the Rogue Valley.
I compete against the young men and women of the entire world.

It's go time.

The City that Never Sleeps...

I have been here for about two weeks now and thought it's about time to post some pictures of some things I've done. I love every second of working at ClearBridge! I've already learned so much in the first week and can't wait to see how much I will know by the end.

Here I come...

Washington Square Park @ NYU.

The NYC Skyline.

The building in which I will work (NY Times' new headquarters).

This is going to be one amazing summer! Can't wait... two weeks and counting!

What I am all about

While doing homework last night, I looked over at my brother's desk-calendar. For January 14th, it said:

"I am all about:

Passion.
Commitment.
Huge risks.
Excellent failures.
Work that matters.
Work that makes a difference."

This inspired me because I occasionally get in that "school-work" blues, which I often fall into immediately following a long break (a.k.a Christmas), and it reminded me what it is I am here for. Because I love it. Because I'm committed to my dreams and education. Because it matters. But most of all... I want to make a difference.
